This is a happy agate and amethyst skull whose skull cavity is a geode. I usually examine the skull's physical characteristics first before tapping into the energetics. My first observation was that there appear to be two "thought bubbles" that raise out of the blue/violet agate into the crystal area. One of the thought bubbles looks like a heart to me, as if this skull has "love" on the mind. There is another thought bubble that sorta just looks like an egg or an oval, or as if the thought hasn't been fully formed yet. I tried to put water into the geode cavity and it only holds just a wee bit of fluid. It's not out of the question that you could charge some water for elixirs, but it isn't the most practical application of the cavity. By the back of the skull, there is a natural fracture line that has created a small crevice and with a small notch that is not polished flat. The color of the agate is somewhere between blue, gray, and violet. There is a ribbon of carnelian earth tone orange/gold at the border of the agate and where it transitions to the amethyst crystals. The eye sockets have been carved just slightly into the crystal area, so they are white/lighter into the socket with a blue/gray agate face. The eye sockets give the impression of one dilated and one smaller pupil. I keep seeing an image of the "Mad Hatter" from Alice in Wonderland because of this characteristic of the eye sockets.
Energetically speaking, I pulled some Crystal Whisper Cards to get some further information and the most important concepts to understand were "manifestation" and that the skull was a "multi-purpose/all purpose" worker. I thought that made perfect sense, since physically, it literally looks like there are thought bubbles happening. Manifestation begins as thought. One of the bubbles looked like a heart, so I would imagine that the support is for manifestation of love or of creations of the heart. The other thought bubble looked like an egg, which would symbolize something in gestation and something that will eventually be born. As I was looking at the skull, mulling over the empty cavity, I could visualize a small scroll of paper being neatly rolled up and bound with thread that contained an intention set for something that the keeper would like to make manifest, such as a new project or business.
The other cards that I pulled suggest that the skull is a "dreamtime worker", which means that it would be well placed near the keeper during sleep. Perhaps it would be helpful to spend a few moments before going to bed to put some energy into the topic of manifestation and to ask for insight and assistance to make it happen. The other cards were path work, shifts/transitions, Earth system worker, integration/processing, and attuner/activator. It did suggest it was an all purpose worker, which is not uncommon for crystal skulls, because they tend to be touch points for spiritual helpers, not just holding a vibrational space. Anything with a face tends to be a good vessel for more organized spiritual assistance. So. That.
The "Mad Hatter" imagery I had earlier reminded me of the concept of people with wild and "out there" ideas that others might consider crazy, might be the exact kind of keeper that this skull would appreciate helping. So, if you're a creative genius who is trying to manifest an idea or project that is way ahead of its time, this might be your skull. Your idea might be crazy enough to work. :)
