I call garnet the "happy marriage stone" because it is known for supporting both passion as well as a committed relationship. It's a root chakra stone that can assist to ground, as well as to add a few logs onto the "primal fire" that doesn't just fuel passion, but vitality in general.
I will often interact with garnet for romantic love support grids or pouches, or in combinations that support physical energy of some sort. I know from my own work that it is also important to have enough physical energy to spare in order to funnel it to clairvoyant, psychic, or energy healing work practices, as all of those things require more energy output then you might imagine. Garnet actually comes in many colors, as well as having some types that show asterism (stars), but the luscious, wine-red colored garnet is the most common and probably the most popular.
Garnet plays well with: Love stones (rose quartz, copper, chrysocolla, emerald, pink tourmaline, twin quartz) Passion stones (carnelian, ruby, hematoid quartz) Relationship support stones (rutilated quartz, Herkimer diamonds, double terminated quartz) Red or orange stones Violet stones between red and purple Lodestone
