Whew, here is another very hefty sized crystal skull carved from a large block of girasol quartz.  Let me start off by describing the physical details of the skull.  The first thing that impresses me is that there are no iron oxide inclusions at all.  It is a very clean, milky, glowing white skull.  Girasol is a type of quartz that has an optical effect that makes it look as though it is glowing with light from within.  Many people have called it "moon quartz" or "girasol opal" because of this quality.  Girasol has a type of depth that is unique in the quartz family.  My co-worker, Christopher, wrote a very detailed blog article on the metaphysical properties of girasol, which you can find by clicking here.

I noticed a small notch by the bottom jaw that is a consequence of an internal fracture that creates a "mask like" effect on the front of the face.  It reminds me think of the Phantom of the Opera mask.  The internal fracture is smooth to the touch in all places, except for the small notch at the very bottom edge of the jawline described above.  There is a faint layered rainbow to the left of the nasal cavity.  Umm, it looks like a barcode.  There is a small "c" shaped groove/notch on the back right part of the skull that is a result of natural crevices in the block of girasol from which they carved the skull. There is a small rainbow there too.  It does not look like a bar code.  There is notable "sheen" along almost the entire forehead area.  In the sheen I see an image that reminds me of a snow owl.  There is a very small notch on the top right eye socket, also from the conjunction of a natural internal fracture from the "mask" mentioned above.

I find that I really enjoy stroking the top of the head with my whole palm.  It has those depressions and variations that are present with a real head, you know, like when you gently stroke the head of a baby.  There is a nice feel to the natural a head and I find that I just want to pet it there.  I am feeling soothed and calmed by doing this, which may be part of how to interact with those kinds of energies.  Just stroke the head while your eyes are closed, which I think would be an excellent meditation aid/action.

I pulled three Crystal Whisper cards for this skull: Emotional Body Worker, Understanding and Comprehension, and Global Worker.  The emotional body worker is in alignment with the properties of girasol quartz, so no shocker there.  Understanding and comprehension would, in my opinion, relate to mental body and intuitive support, which is also a property of girasol, such as "insight".  Global worker, to me, means that this skull would be a good ally to a lightworker who specializes in clearing, shifting, or supporting emotionally charged events, cultural quagmires of mass emotional/mental dysfunction (mob mentality expressing utter lack of heart/mind integration), that kind of thing.  That's a pretty specific type of work, so I'm sure the intended keeper will recognize this skull and probably immediately feel the energetic connection.  It just works out that way with the skulls, I find.
